Job Description
We are very excited to find our new Behavioral Health Clinic Supervisor (LCSW) for our primary care clinic in San Francisco! Our facility is an FQHC focused on empowering community members to improve their lives.
Our new supervisor will provide social determinants of health screenings; acute needs determination and triage; health/social services patient navigation assistance (i.e., care coordination), BH consultation support for medical providers; brief psychological assessments; and time-limited counseling primarily for mild-to-severe complexity BH needs. This position supervises the service’s treatment staff and care coordinators, contributes as a direct service provider themselves, ensures service/staff compliance with existing protocols and operations standards, exercises responsible stewardship of resources to maximize service reach and outcomes, and seeks continuous improvement in the quality and efficiency of services.
This is a hybrid role; 1 day per week from home.
Qualifications:
1. Masters or Doctorate degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology.
2. Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker or Clinical Psychologist in the State of California, in good standing and eligible for renewal.
3. At least two years of post-licensure clinical behavioral health work experience in integrated healthcare settings (e.g., primary care, dental services). 4. Prior experience as an administrative manager for a clinical BH project/program with demonstrated success.Thorough knowledge of culturally sensitive therapeutic principles and practices in behavioral health treatment, counseling techniques, case management, diagnosis, and treatment of a broad spectrum of mental illness.
