Roles and Responsibilities
- Main goal: work collaboratively with the AMJ Campbell Toronto team to grow the Rochester location
- Act as main liaison for all communication between the client, customer service representatives, accounting, warehouse staff and drivers
- Manage on-time and quality performance from all business sectors; client expectations, customer service, warehousing, final mile deliveries
- Ensure all driver teams are remaining compliant with all applicable New York state laws and provide training where required
- Handle human resources for a staff base of 15-20 employees, including recruitment, issue resolution, terminations, etc.
- Produce and share reports on a regular basis: revenue, incidents, etc.
- Oversee claims to ensure they are settled efficiently and get involved in all service escalations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous transportation experience is required
- Ability to work with strong personality types
- 3-5 years of management experience within a successful, growing business
- Knowledge of New York labour laws
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
