We are seeking a social media leader with a “roll up your sleeves” “can-do” attitude to join our Marketing team as the Social Media Manager. As a fast-paced, growth-driven brand with a combined following of over 400,000, this role has significant responsibility and visibility in the organization. Our ideal candidate is obsessed (in the best way!) with social media and is an expert in the platforms, from understanding platform trends and innovations to using data to maximize performance. As a manager, you will own social media strategy, social listening and analytics, and community management. You’ll also manage a small, enthusiastic team of professionals in content creation and community management. You will have an excellent CMO and partner helping you activate social media to drive the brand forward on all key initiatives.
About You
You’re a seasoned social media master that has built and run successful social media programs on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn for companies with at least $10 million in annual revenue. The CEO/owner/founder IS the brand and you can hone in on the voice like a pro. You’ve done this before at a high level and quality posts and stories are in your DNA. You demand quality content, have a keen aesthetic, a sharp eye for detail, and a strong sense of appeal to your audience.

Requirements:What you’ll do:
- Create successful social media content strategies to drive continued follower and engagement growth with a balance for both brand-driving and sales-driving initiatives.
- Lead the team in social media content ideation and creation across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok and LinkedIn etc.).
- Guide the team in managing community from answering questions to rapport building
- Own platform performance goals and measure, analyze, and optimize accordingly
- Identify and lead team to execute innovative content to drive brand awareness, sales and continue our leadership in the digital and social media space
- Maintain pulse on all key platform changes, sharing implications and collaborating with marketing team on needed brand actions
- Collaborate internally with teams to manage content needs
- Bring art direction, spearhead setup and execution of photo and video shoots, including product photography, lifestyle and team/company events
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 3 years of experience in social media marketing
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth and engagement on these social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok and LinkedIn etc.
- Able to provide examples of prior content creation, from ideation to execution
- Strategic thinker and problem solver with a competitive spirit and passions for results
- A strong marketing point of view for what resonates and an empathy for customer health and wellness
- Data-driven marketer with solid understanding of key social media metrics and experience measuring, analyzing, and optimizing performance
- Confident platform expert who is well versed in current, relevant, and industry innovations – the “latest and greatest”
- Experienced in managing, leading, and developing people
- Familiarity with basic content creation and editing tools as well as social media publishing and analytics tools
- High attention to detail and the ability to spot mistakes and opportunities for improvement before anyone else
- The ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Team player that has experience wearing multiple hats – strategic and tactical - while operating in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Photography and basic video skills using iPhone, Android, or DSLR
- Graphic design skills are a plus!
