For our MEGADYNE and AMMEGA Operation team, we are currently looking for a Quality Inspection/Auditor I. Full benefits on day 1 401(k) after a month.
Quality Inspection/Auditor I
As a Quality Inspection/Auditor I, you will be responsible to support the overall needs of the quality department and for conducting testing procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards using a variety of quality measuring devices and machines. You will report to the Quality Production Team Lead and be part of the Quality team. This position works on a team of about 5 people. Key colleagues include the Production Team Lead and Production Manager. In this role, you will be based in Charlotte, NC.
A day in the life of a Quality Inspection/Auditor 1 can look like:
- Inspecting and/or testing the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances by performing at least one type of inspection.
- Operating level I quality machines, tools, and programing to certify production is within tolerance of ISO Standard.
- Assigned Quality machines may include one or more of the following:
- Pitch measurement, calipers, durometers, tensile strength machine, pulleys, curve measuring machine, grinders, and/or other handheld precision measuring devices.
- Inspecting equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment.
- Performing basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Following standard safety procedures.
We are looking for you to offer the following:
- At least one year of related experience preferred.
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Ability to act quickly when problems arise.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn quality equipment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and trouble shooting skills are required.
