Our Associate Buyer will work Monday through Friday.

As an Associate Buyer you will:
- Manage production schedules according to level loaded production philosophy in support of sales forecasts and/or actual open orders; includes inter-company requirements.
- Open and close shop orders as an Associate Buyer
- Manager and order materials from outside suppliers as required to support internal production part requirement, as triggered by internal pull systems.
- Cut releases to the supply chain where automatic kanban triggers are not established.
- Effective negotiation and purchasing of supplies, equipment, and products relative to our industry.
- Proficient in data collection, organization and distribution.
- Purchase items requested through the PO requisition system.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all vendors and suppliers.
Required qualifications for an Associate Buyer:
- Two year Associates degree in Business or other related field or 3 years of related work experience.
- Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of quality and accuracy as an Associate Buyer.
- Must demonstrate safe work practices, work with limited supervision and communicate with coworkers, manager and other departments
- Maintain poise and respond in a professional and respectful manner to all situations
