What You’ll Be Doing:

Amogy is looking for a Controller to join and lead our Accounting team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Controller will be accountable for all accounting operations within Amogy. This includes the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive system of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.

• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; Enhance the accuracy of the Company's reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Oversee the production of periodic financial reports and ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards
• Implement company-wide control policies, and establish separation of duties where needed
• Partner with our audit firm on to prepare all necessary information required to complete an AICPA audit
• Detail tax implications when working through technical accounting aspects, especially as it relates to our international entities
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements, including payroll compliance
• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned
• Manage a team of two employees, with additional members expected to be added over the next twelve months

Minimum requirements we seek:

• Active CPA license is required
• 10-15 years of experience between public and private accounting
• Previous experience as a Controller; Strong preference for experience within a high-growth environment
• Experience within a manufacturing and service environment is strongly preferred
• Previous experience with implementing an ERP
• Less than 10% travelAbility to travel as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment

The salary pay range for this position is $160,000 - $180,000. The salary pay range is applicable to positions physically based in Houston, TX. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, job experience and physical location.
