Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience required CPA or other applicable certifications preferred. For positions with Principal Global Investors, you will be required to comply with a Code of Ethics which covers a number of obligations related to personal and business conduct as well as personal trading activities for you and members of your household. These same requirements may also apply to other positions across the organization. Responsibilities: Conducting month-end close activities. Performing basic accounting analysis and reporting of financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or other regulatory guidance. Calculating routine journal entries and providing accurate and timely financial submissions. Reconciling accounts and preparing financial data for inclusion in the financial control process. Reporting to external and internal stakeholders.
