What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Ampere Computing?

The Role:

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our finance team based in our Portland office. You will have the unique opportunity to help shape our rapidly growing Forecasting, Planning & Analysis organization to supporting Ampere’s growth and success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support specific business segments, become the finance business partner to senior leaders executing Ampere’s strategic plans.
  • Analyze, execute, and influence a wide spectrum of the company, touching all areas of the business and participate and experience all areas of finance, not just a tiny sliver like other companies.
  • Execute specific portions of the Annual and Quarterly Forecasting cycles.
  • Create & launch automated process to provide real-time data to business partners to facilitate leading their organization.
  • Contribute to month end and quarter end close activities.
  • Provide commentary and analysis on results drivers and business rationale to support external reporting.
  • Collaborate and work closely with finance team to drive change and have fun creating the ideal FP&A organization.
  • Create & present metrics and key performance indicators to drive business decisions
  • Assess results, recommend actions to drive Ampere to financial success and streamline decision making.
  • Innovate and create new processes to improve to facilities Ampere next phase of growth.
  • Participate and support external audit.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2 years financial analysis and planning experience.
  • Strong knowledge and history with FP&A and operating expenses.
  • Fluent in financial statements - understands PnL, BS and CF and transaction impacts.
  • Experience producing high quality independent results.
  • Amazing Excel skills – impress us!
  • Proven aptitude with ERP and systems; NetSuite experience a plus.
  • Semiconductor/manufacturing experience is a big plus.
  • Ability to transform large datasets into useful, actionable information.
  • Ideas, creativity, and curiosity. We want you to make recommendations
  • Comfortable with systems, data, and reporting.
  • Great communication skills. Ability to explain finance impacts to non-finance teams and ability to present to senior leaders.
  • Customer Service focus. Be helpful and assist our business partners as they invent the future. They should want to hear from you!
  • Cool head in a fast-paced environment.
  • Know how to have fun & get work done collaborating.
  • Quick-learning abilities with the skill of figuring things out on their own.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field
