Job Overview
This position is responsible for organizing and supervising the installation of integrated residential technology systems. Additionally, this role combines technical expertise with exceptional craftsmanship to deliver reliable, easy-to-use systems on time and on budget for the company’s clients.
Responsibilities
- Terminate cables with required connectors and perform basic testing of cables and equipment
- Deliver and install equipment including audio, video, control, network, equipment racks, and other furniture items
- Install speakers, screens, shades, TV’s and other A/V and control equipment
- Maintain current industry knowledge
- Other installation related tasks as required
- Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Experience with Control4 is a plus
- Residential and Commercial experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Exemplary customer service skills coupled with a positive attitude
- A valid Driver’s License and a vehicle for travel to and from job sites
- Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 80 lbs
