Advanced Management Strategies Group is seeking a SharePoint Specialist to support the Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Secure Transportation (OST) Administrative Support Services.

Location: OST Headquarters, Albuquerque, New Mexico
Education: BA/BS or AA with 4 years experience with SharePoint development
Experience: 4 years’ of related work experience
Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a Q clearance
Must be a US Citizen
Scope of Work: AMSG will provide services in various areas to include management and administrative support roles, project and budget analysis, document controls, federal payroll data entry, travel vouchers processing, technical editing/writing, purchase requests processing, and invoice tracking.
Responsibilities Include:
- Candidate will be responsible for the performance of the work. The SharePoint Specialist will be available from 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday with the exception to Federal Holidays.
- The SharePoint Specialist will provide support to primarily AFMB and other OST offices as required. The Specialist will provide training to end users, and other staff on a wide range of SharePoint applications and processes as required.
- The SharePoint Specialist will design and establish test environments for new architecture before migrating to final environment based on requirements defined in agency guidelines.
- The SharePoint Specialist will configure and maintain AFMB electronic documents and databases in designated file share repositories on SharePoint site architecture or other specific locations that is responsive to current and future needs and to ensure the near real-time coordination, review, storage, and reporting of documents.
- The SharePoint Specialist will migrate data from one server to another and organize files electronically on SharePoint with appropriate metadata to meet orders, policy, and directives.
- The SharePoint Specialist will work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to manage SharePoint portals and other repositories and document processes as required to ensure they are compliant with agency directives and guidelines.
- The SharePoint Specialist will interface and resolve potential problems between administrative and technical personnel to implement configuration control practices/procedures with SharePoint or specified platforms.
- The SharePoint Specialist will coordinate or lead repository project configuration, population, branching, merging, build and packaging and archiving in support of development, integration, testing and production of records.
- The SharePoint Specialist will provide recommendations in the design, develop, and support data architecture and infrastructure for development, testing, and production.
- The SharePoint Specialist will interface with IT technical and management personnel to provide guidance on evolving technologies that may impact the current architecture or platform.
