Diagnostic Endoscopy Center is a State, Medicare and AAAHC accredited facility and is staffed by highly trained professionals with extensive experience in endoscopy procedures. Recently, Diagnostic Endoscopy Center was recognized by the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy as part of its program specifically dedicated to promoting quality in endoscopy in all settings.
We are currently searching for a Full Time Nurse Supervisor to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for working with the Center Administrator to coordinate and direct clinical activities of the center according to its policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling of staff to ensure sufficient staff is available to meet patient needs
- Promote professionalism, collegiality, and on-going staff training/development
- Manage quality management and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and accreditation agency requirements
- Oversee infection control program and environment of care
Education/Experience:
- Current CT Nursing license in good standing
- Maintain BLS and ACLS
- 2 or more years of prior clinical management experience
- Previous experience in GI or Surgical setting preferred
- BSN from accredited school of nursing is preferred
