Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains organizational and governing documents for corporate entities
- Tracks and maintains relevant entity information, including state filings
- Prepares legal documents and correspondence; manages templates and maintains version control
- Supports corporate development transactions, including maintaining transaction logs, assisting with document preparation and compiling closing sets
- Prepares and orders corporate filings, including good standing certificates and lien searches
- Prepares corporate resolutions
- Organizes and tracks legal matters and requests
- Other duties as assigned
- Responsible for adhering to company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs
Qualifications
- Associates degree or paralegal certificate required.
- At least 5 years of paralegal experience
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Organizing and planning, ability to prioritize
- Strong communication skills, oral and written
- Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Microsoft Office Suite
