Springfield Ambulatory Surgery Center is an outpatient, freestanding gastrointestinal endoscopy facility that sees patients for colorectal cancer screening and treatment of digestive diseases. Founded in 1997, our mission has always been to provide the highest quality care in a convenient, safe and comfortable setting. We are currently searching for Full Time and PRN Registered Nurses to work Mondays – Fridays (10 hour staggered shifts) who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: prepares patients for procedures; assists physician during procedure; provides care for patients in recovery, maintains equipment, and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS, and have at least two years of registered nurse experience.
