JobDescription
COREDUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assistspatients with proper frame and lensselection
- Educatespatients on various options for clear lenses sunglasses and anyother needs the patient mayhave
- Ensuresproper fit and measurements for all lens types including singlevision bifocal progressive andothers
- Educatepatients on the benefits of having multiple pairs of glasses tofill all their eye careneeds
- Verifiespatient insurance and explains theirbenefits
- Dispensesglasses and makes sure patients know about adaptation to newprescriptions lens typesetc.
- Helpspatients with repairs andadjustments
- Ensurespatient phone calls are returned in a timely manner and the patientis informed of any delays with eyewearpurchased
- Assistswith any other tasks that need to be completed in theoffice
- Labexperience in edging finishing and surfacingpreferred.
POSITIONREQUIREMENTS :
- Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to threeyears related experience and / or training; or equivalent combinationof education andexperience
- Amenableto reportonsite
