What are the responsibilities and job description for the BIM Designer position at Amteck, LLC?
Amteck is seeking a BIM Designer for our corporate office located in Lexington, KY. This position will be a part of our growing engineering team and will work directly with the Field Superintendents, Project Managers and BIM Manager to develop installation drawings based on engineering design drawings. Requirements include but are not limited to the below
- BIM Modeling 2-3 years of experience
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks is preferred
- Construction knowledge and terminology
- Electrical industry preferred but not required
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook
Job duties include but are not limited to the below
- Assist in coordinating the electrical installation with other trades
- Help resolve any conflicts with the GC and/or other trades
- Assist prefab development and execution
- Be a support for the Engineering department for Revit/CAD troubleshooting and general assistance

Salary : $51,400 - $65,100
