Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Project Business Analyst to support organizational change initiatives by defining needs, recommending solutions, and facilitating project management activities. This position is primarily remote, with occasional onsite requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project elements including business case development, requirements elicitation, analysis, communication, testing, and training.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of strategic and support plans.
- Lead Request for Proposal (RFP) activities to establish functional requirements, vendor scorecards, and demo scenarios.
- Collect and deliver requirements, use cases, documentation, and test plans.
- Support process improvement initiatives by creating process flow charts and value stream mapping.
- Develop measurement activities to report on project effectiveness, ROI, and other success metrics.
- Assist in project documentation management tailored to project needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to enhance project delivery quality.
- Promote and educate stakeholders on related methodologies and processes.
- Engage in ongoing learning and training in business analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Healthcare, Healthcare IT, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years in business analysis; preferred seven (7) years overseeing complex projects and three (3) years in project management.
- Certifications: Preferred certifications include CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, CAPM, or ASQ Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).
- Intermediate knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and change management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, customer service, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and influence others to accomplish tasks outside of direct control.
Preferred Experience:
- Three (3) years in a healthcare, research, or academic environment.
