Be a part of bringing the Amwell brand to life through creative design and storytelling. As a member of our Corporate Positioning and Design team, you’ll be joining a high-performing, in-house creative agency with a digital-first focus and a culture focused on delivering awesome. On our highly collaborative team, you will be responsible for the strategic concepting and development of interaction design, information graphics, motion graphics, and video. You will collaborate cross-functionally across all departments and interact with all levels of the organization.

You thrive in making the intangible tangible through design, deliverables and approach and with a passion for visual storytelling, and constantly strive to build innovative, creative visuals that engage and “wow” your clients.
Responsibilities:
- Bring the Amwell brand to life through clean, consistent look and feel
- Create on-brand, clear and engaging interaction design, information graphics, motion graphics, and video, as well as presentations via PowerPoint and other mediums.
- Develop creative briefs, storyboards and/or layouts to effectively communicate design ideas that are persuasive and inclusive
- Collaborate with executives and cross-disciplinary subject matter experts to identify the best medium for delivering their message, in turn, creating the visuals and deliverable that elegantly communicates complex ideas
- Stay abreast of the latest multimedia design techniques and conventions
- Conceptualize and execute design solutions that align with business objectives
- When applicable, oversee outside agency or contractors work and output, ensuring alignment to the Amwell brand
Qualifications:
- 5 years in Multimedia design (corporate or agency) experience, with an emphasis in interaction design, information graphics, motion graphics, and video.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, After Effects, Premier, PhotoShop) and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience in B2B and B2C visual design and brand positioning
- Proven track record to work cross-functionally across multiple teams including marketing, editorial, production, etc.
- Experience managing and collaborating with outside agencies, partners, and third-party vendors
- Ability to influence at all levels, particularly at the executive level, and work effectively across functions and geographies
- Ability to thrive as a self-starter and adapt in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment, as well as prioritize and advance multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related discipline and equivalent work experience
- Creative digital portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and design skills
- Familiarity with web and mobile apps technologies is a plus
- Working knowledge of Cinema 4D and/or Final Cut Pro
- Experience working and mentoring in a virtual environment
- Problem-solving skills to identify, resolve and overcome obstacles
- Experience in event visual design, video production and immersive experience design
