About the Opportunity
MMTC is seeking a hands-on Controller with solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills. The Controller reports directly to the VP Operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, development, and implementation of effective accounting strategies, policies, and procedures
- Effective preparation, maintenance, and reporting of internal and external financial records and analyses
- Overseeing daily operations and performing administrative functions for the Accounting department
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Company personnel, departments, and management
- Establishing and maintaining effective business relations with vendors, outside auditors and regulators, and other companies
- Supervising and coaching the Accounting team
- Managing the budget process
- Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes
- Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance
- Overseeing grant management
About You
You have deep accounting and financial knowledge and experience, exceptional people management, leadership and project management skills. Experience with grant management is a plus!

Pay: $95,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
