Overview
Amyx is seeking to hire a Chief Engineer to support our Department of Energy Information Technology Support Services contract in the Morgantown, WV area.
Responsibilities
The Chief Engineer position is a high visibility position for an important and complex contract at the National Energy Technology Laboratory in Morgantown, WV. The Chief Engineer will be expected to have substantial experience and expertise in delivering technology services in a highly distributed environment to a diverse customer set. Experience and expertise leading and contributing to teams working on complex application architecture, cybersecurity, service desk and help desk activities, network engineering, SharePoint administration and development, CMMI Level practices, and other systems work is expected. The Chief Engineer is the most senior technical resource and responsible for the design and oversight of the technical architecture implementations such as cloud solutions.
Qualifications
Required:
Master's Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field AND six years of related work experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field AND eight years of related work experience
OR Fourteen years of related work experience AND Experience with financial sector
OR Fourteen years in management of a diversified workforce and geographically disbursed work environment AND Project Management Professional certification
Desired:
Experience working in a Departmentof Energy and/or NETL environment.
