Overview
Amyx is seeking to hire a Senior Analyst to support DHS/S&T Professional Services and Mission Support Office of the Under Secretary (OUS) / Front Office, Knowledge Management, and Interagency contract on-site in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Assist in archiving institutional knowledge and making readily available to personnel within the S&T Directorate. This includes assisting and participating in the development and maintenance of a process and architecture within S&T to coordinate release of federally funded research to wide distribution in accordance with established business practices, agreements and federal policy.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and management of the policy and actions necessary to increase public access of federally funded research within the Department of Homeland Security and within S&T. Assist KM in the development, writing, clearance, distribution and maintenance of S&T policies and procedures on behalf of USST and senior leadership.
- Perform technical writing and editing assignments and assist in the maintenance of the DHS S&T Lexicon. Primarily, these duties will be performed in support of KM to include assisting in the preparation, proofreading and editing of prepared documents. As a secondary function, on an as-available basis, technical writing, editing and proofreading will be offered to assist other offices within S&T.
- Assist in the development and distribution of correspondence, briefings, spreadsheets, and schedules using the Microsoft Office suite of programs and tools. Assist and participate in the maintenance and improvement of business tools to store, archive, and manage accumulated knowledge relevant to S&T and its associated mission accomplishment (e.g., S&T Project Sites (STPS), S&T Lexicon, etc.).
- Provide expert advice in the development of tools and other means to manage knowledge, track knowledge and change initiatives, their progress and their value to the directorate and its mission. This includes providing assistance in the distribution and communication of results and, assist in developing corrective action or continuous improvement plans for ongoing initiatives.

- Top Secret clearance
- Resolves complex problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of subject matter related to the designated field or discipline.
- Applies principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions.
- Areas of expertise may include economic and behavioral analysis, data analytics, biometric analysis, communication and network systems, business process reengineering, performance management, statistical process control, individual and organizational assessment and evaluation, process modeling and simulation, strategic and business planning, change management, organizational development, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and situational awareness and decision support.
- BA/BS 10 years of relevant experience or Masters 5 years of relevant experience.
