Our award-winning theme park is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator who owns interviewing and hiring events and scheduling throughout the full recruitment lifecycle, as well as the tracking of these stages. This position serves as the front line first contact for all new staff and works as a partner with internal departments to help meet staffing needs. This position reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager with the goal in mind of helping to make Anakeesta the employer of choice!
Responsibilities
- Manage Interview Scheduling activities for select roles
- Conduct interviews and phone screenings as necessary
- Record candidate activity and pull metrics on requested roles as necessary
- Perform employment verifications and relevant background checks on final candidates as needed
- Facilitate offer letters as appropriate
- Assist HR team with new hire orientation and park tours
- Have knowledge to answer questions regarding benefits, payroll, absence, time, and compensation
- Participate in projects and initiatives to improve processes and drive efficiency
- Attending and/or coordinating job fairs
- Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborates with the manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to interface with wide range of constituent groups
- Basic computer and database skills;
- Some experience in HR or Recruiting related fields
Physical Requirements
- Requires extended periods of time at computer workstation. Includes ability to listen and speak on the phone.
- Ability to move or lift up to 25 pounds for presentation set ups.
