This position entails the transistor-level design of Power Management DC-DC converter and controller ICs. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with product definition and architecture
- Performing detailed circuit design/simulation
- Generating inputs for test and reliability
- Overseeing lab validation activities
- Generating inputs for datasheets as needed.
- Incorporate bench, reliability and production test results to implement fixes as needed
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Power Management of related Analog IC Design.
- Familiarity with buck, boost, LDOs, bandgaps, bias, comparators, and op-amps.
- Versed in the electrical characteristics and physical construction of capacitors and inductors.
- Device physics knowledge in regard to analog and power such as transistor operation, optimization, parasitics, and performance.
- Skilled in related CAD design and analysis tools including Cadence
- Laboratory skills including working with oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, etc.
