Production Technicians

A reputable Syracuse area company is seeking Production Technicians to join their growing team!

The hours available for this role are Mon.-Thurs. 1st shift & Mon.-Thurs. 2nd shift; 10-hour days, 4-days per week

Compensation starts at $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Operates production equipment, including set up, operation, and cleaning of equipment and parts
  • Confirms configurations are correct, inspects parts for leaks or abnormalities, and completes operational documentation per operating procedures
  • Tags, palletizes, and places all returned or rejected items
  • Supply assigned positions with materials to complete work, according to standard operating procedures.
  • Clean equipment, production areas, and inspect parts/items following prescribed procedures.
  • Provides troubleshooting on basic issues and may assist in providing training.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing/ production/ hospital environment, ideally in a cleanroom setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic mechanical skills related to operation of equipment
  • Knowledge and skill in operating various specialized equipment, such as filling, wash, and sanitizing equipment
  • Knowledge of and compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations preferred
  • General computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office programs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
