RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Account Manager (AM) you are the primary sales and service liaison between Anatomy and our customers. This position is remote and reports directly to the VP of Account Management. You will provide direction to our customers related to their workstations, servers, storage, and networking often from multiple vendors. Having a project management mindset is helpful as there are lots of moving parts on a day-to-day basis. You will be tasked with developing a relationship and becoming a trusted advisor to our customers.
You will do amazing in this role if you are a customer advocate at heart, understand customer health and risk mitigation, aren’t afraid to ask the hard questions and can ferret out up-sell opportunities. If you have a strong background in IT that is even better as often AMs do end up providing consultation to the customers to help them determine what they need to buy.
You will also:
- Endeavor to develop and maintain executive and departmental relationships with assigned clients
- Work to establish and implement short- and long-range goals and objectives for your accounts
- Perform regular reviews of client agreements to look for opportunities to expand or refresh
- Provide proactive outreach to customers on a regular basis
- Work to address and follow up on all client escalated issues
- Deliver PulseCheck Business review presentations several times a year (QBRs)
- Monitor customer health and proactively work with internal teams and customers to reduce churn and mitigate accounts identified as at risk or “red”
- Maintain sales forecasts, key contacts & roles, account notes and other related documentation in Salesforce for all assigned accounts
- Proactively work to quickly close any reactive tickets assigned to AM from Connectwise (ticketing system)
- Have visibility into the support status of each account and assist as required for any high-profile issues
- Have visibility into the accounts receivable status of each account and assist where needed for any delinquencies
- Actively be looking for ways to drive success and expansion within existing customer base
- Develop and present project, service, and product quotes to clients
- Provide a consultative approach to your customer relationships with an eye on up-sell and expansion opportunities

We look for you to also bring:
- A solid customer service background with organizational skills to match
- A 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2-3 years’ work experience in an account management role, project management role or related role
- A high-level understanding of business technology as well as a good understanding of network topology and its dependencies
- The ability to navigate difficult customers and situations
- A willingness to travel to client sites
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting proposals
- A customer-first mindset
- An active approach to solving problems and open to receiving feedback
- A strong work ethic
- ConnectWise and Salesforce experience a plus
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Generally, a home office environment. However, while traveling, working out of hotel rooms that are appropriately set up and conducive to performing “home office” activities. Generally, at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area, with moderate noise levels and good internet connectivity
- Travel is typically 60-70% and is based upon understanding and meeting the needs of each client and prospective clients
- Significant air, car and train travel are involved and should be expected by the individual. Additional activities require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks and in front of a computer monitor. This requires traveling with luggage and computer bags. Occasionally the position requires bringing and setting up additional equipment
- The ability to attend onsite client meetings and working with key executives and stake holders. These meetings can occur in multiple types of healthcare settings and office buildings
