Position Overview
ANC is seeking a Technology Services Specialist in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Specialists provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 on-site and remote support for ANC’s digital signage systems throughout the DC area, primarily focusing on our transit customers. This position works in a small team of Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians to maintain a near 99% uptime for a mission-critical application. The incumbent maintains a professional and trusted relationship with our clients, excelling at transparent communication and organization, to provide the highest quality service and support that ANC is known for. The ideal candidate will seek to constantly improve operations and company offerings in the interest of our clients and self-improvement. This position works evening shift but must be flexible.

- Serve as system administrator for a complex digital signage installation running on ANC’s software, LiveSync.
- Monitor and respond to device alarms by dispatching Tier 1 technicians or resolving remotely if possible.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and test Windows-based digital signs consisting of both LCD and LED technology.
- Conduct site surveys, assess and document current configurations and client requirements
- Analyze existing client requirements and prepare specifications and procedures for software updates or hardware replacements.
- Supervise and assist with new device deployment when required by the client
- Follow standard operating procedures for ANC support, including the use of ticketing systems and documentation
- Lead annual and monthly preventative maintenance events
- Communicate effectively and regularly with ANC’s global technical support team and the Client Services Account Executive assigned to the market as part of the ANC total service package.
- Attend training that may benefit the position or the department, including Safety, Equipment, Procedures/Best Practices, and Certification seminars.

- Successful candidate will have served at least two to three (2-3) years in a specialized technical role at a similar video integration company or in a related industry (ITSM, commercial integrator, entertainment production)
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution (additional experience exceeding the above minimum will be accepted in lieu of a degree)
- Basic electronics skills and some specific hardware familiarity (professional video systems including outdoor LCD displays, LED video displays, signal transport components)
- Familiarity with servers, thick clients, and device imaging concepts/software
- General understanding of networking concepts and related infrastructure.
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities are required.
- The position requires strong communication, leadership, adaptability, reporting, and decision-making skills.
- OSHA 10 safety certification required, OSHA 30 preferred
- Active MEWP 3B certification (aerial lifts) from a course with an in-person hands-on exam component
- Ability to access and perform work at high elevations, including accessing display structures where 30~40' climbs are typical
- Valid Drivers License
- Travel 15% ( /-)
