Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Permanent position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Intermediate Care (IMC) department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, monitoring, and treatment to patients with complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Monitoring and interpreting patient vital signs
- Administering medications and treatments
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Educating patients and their families on health and wellness
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Implementing infection control protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of employment
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU/IMC setting
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
