What are the responsibilities and job description for the TKE Coordintator position at Anchor Fabrication?
A Coordinator, or TKE Coordinator, is responsible for helping oversee the successful completion of daily tasks or shipments that are both internal and customer driven. Duties include performing specialized tasks, managing a team of employees, and establishing relationships with internal customers. They are to collaborate closely with the supervisor and other support groups directly linked to the product line.
Coordinator duties and responsibilities
This individual helps in the implementation of organizational and management driven tasks that support the efforts of a variety of projects, campaigns, or events. TKE Coordinator duties and responsibilities include:
- Communicating with internal customers as well as employees about project or task expectations and goals
- Collaborating with supervision and management on budgeted needs of the team
- Delegating tasks to appropriate team members
- Managing and or moving employees to areas that are most needed I order to accomplish effective due date deliveries.
- Managing deadlines and progress across the team to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget.
- Overseeing the delivery of projects and adjusting as necessary to ensure they are delivered to specifications and high standards.
- Collecting and analyzing feedback from customers and other project users to gauge satisfaction and success.
- Work with Engineering and Quality Assurance support groups to improve communication, processes and 5S projects.
The TKE Coordinator reports to the manufacturing supervisor as well as to the manufacturing manager. The position includes managing inventory through database and maintaining levels required daily to meet production demands. Responsible for assisting with manufacturing duties * Picking orders * Basic Fork lift operation * Inventory maintenance * Pick orders and conduct inventory counts * Keep the warehouse organized * Provide inventory reports as required *Minimum Requirements for this position: * * Have a high school diploma or GED * Must be at least 18 years of age * Experience in manufacturing processes, shipping and receiving
Data entry experience * Basic computer knowledge with Windows based programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) * Working knowledge of MRP inventory * Must have good time management skills * Must be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
The position requires lifting and carrying heavy items up to 50 pounds. * Bending at waist, reaching, and climbing are frequently required. * Manual dexterity required packing items and safely moving boxes. * Hearing and speaking to exchange information. Extreme temperature work environment possible.
