Summary
This position will lead the reservation process at the hotel. Responsibilities will include monitoring/maintaining pass keys, involvement with hotel inventory, assisting with reservation-related training, and attending hotel reservation-related meetings. They will be responsible for reservation duties but are not limited to handling guest room reservation requests for the hotel, providing guests with hotel facility information and answering questions relating to the hotel and local area, blocking rooms, entering group rooming lists, posting prepayments, billing no-show reservations, and other duties as assigned. Also responsible for answering all incoming calls, handling guest mail and faxes, and taking messages for guests.
Must have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude, and an excellent phone demeanor. Must work well under pressure.
Customer service experience preferred. Excellent communication skills and answering questions relating to the hotels are required. Schedule flexibility is necessary.
