Total Rewards Manager

The Human Resources Department of a growing accounting firm is seeking an organized, professional, Total Rewards Manager. Reporting to the Chief People Office, this individual will take the lead role in managing the design, implementation, administration, communication and ongoing evaluation of the Firms compensation and benefit programs, policies and procedures. This role will work closely with HR, Finance and Firm Leadership to align Total Rewards Programs to the Firms strategic direction and culture.
The Total Rewards Manager must demonstrate the ability to project manage, a high level of diplomacy and confidentiality. This role also requires a natural problem-solving ability with a passion for learning in a hands-on environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Benefits and Wellness:
Manage existing benefit plans, and provide subject matter expertise in development, recommendation, and implementation of approved, new, or modified employee benefits
Coordinate benefits administration (enrollments, terminations, changes, COBRA, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, 401(k) hardship withdrawals, etc.) internally, as well as with external vendors
Ensures that the benefit programs support the organizations business objectives and meets all legal requirements, including reporting, disclosure, testing, and other regulatory requirements.
Verifies the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies. Resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives.
Oversee benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system
Manage the annual open enrollment process
Maintain and update all benefits documentation including, but not limited to, policies, summary plan descriptions, etc.
Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the companys benefits package (training, informational materials, online toolkits, etc.)
Support 401k administration including, but not limited to: annual 401k audit, enrollment, rollovers/distributions, year-end reporting
Manage all administrative aspects of leaves of absence (including Parental Leave) to include tracking hours used/taken, working closely with Finance for accuracy and documentation requirements.
Serves as direct contact for all employee benefit questions and responds timely to all inquiries. Escalate any issues as needed with vendors to ensure resolution of claim issues and benefit changes.
Provides support for the budgetary management of medical, dental, vision, 401K, and wellness.
Interface with Payroll and the external benefits administration teams to ensure timely and accurate benefit deductions.
Monitor monthly Paid Time Off accruals and communicate with department heads, as needed
Provide guidance to HR team on benefit and compensation matters.
Gathers program feedback and conducts research to identify and recommend strategic enhancement to the total reward programs.
Prepare annual firm paid holiday schedule
Administer COBRA process for exiting employees, including collection of COBRA payments
Maintains companys intranet and HRIS system with current benefit plan information.
Develop and coordinates various wellness campaigns and benefits events such as flu shots, biometric screenings, walking challenges, wellness fairs, lunch and learns
Maintains knowledge of trends, developments and best practices in compensation and benefits administration.
Compensation:
Oversee existing compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, salary planning, incentive plan design, and analysis.
Oversee the monitoring of employee change action requests to ensure promotions and employee status change requests are current.
Update salary and bonus information in Paycom and necessary benefits systems
Create compensation packets for employees annual review meetings
Monitor and research compensation and benefit trends, provide current data to department leaders and staff compensation committee
Ensure pay practices comply with state and federal laws and regulations
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Competencies

Advanced computer proficiency with MS Office Suite including PowerPoint
Education and Experience
Bachelors in Human Resources, Business or Related Field
Minimum of 7 years of relevant HR experience, specifically in managing benefits and compensation functions
PHR, SHRM-CP, or CEBS certification preferred
