Andersen Material Handling is an established, successful material handling company with over 60 years of service and strong recognition in our industry. We are currently seeking an individual who will perform general building maintenance and repairs to ensure a clean and functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs
- Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems
- Fix a variety of items (cabinets, lights, electronics, HVAC, etc.)
- Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, damage to walls, etc.
- Install necessary appliances and equipment as needed
- Maintain the facility grounds and surrounding areas
- Ensure the warehouse and office building remain fully stocked in supplies
- Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc.
- Arrange boxes, materials, and other industrial equipment in a neat and orderly manner
- Transport materials to supply all necessary departments
Requirements
- Previous experience in performing general building maintenance or construction
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing
- Basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Must be highly motivated and can work quickly, efficiently, and independently
- Attention to detail
