Associate Business Law Attorney

Description

The Associate Business Law Attorney plays a dynamic role, empowering clients to protect themselves from the legal threats they face while placing the client on a better path to future success. The attorney will work closely with clients to identify and address legal threats and opportunities by consulting regularly with clients, answering their legal questions, reviewing their legal documents, and building out legal structures. Additionally, the attorney will work on special projects to improve asset protection strategies and services, while collaborating with a team of paralegals and legal assistance to provide an excellent client experience. The attorney will also be readily available to address client concerns and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in any US state or D.C.
• Strong drive to increase professional knowledge and improve subject matter expertise
• Ability to build rapport with clients and team members
• Comfortable on the phone and in virtual meetings
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-centered, and dynamic environment
• Professional demeanor and ability to self manage
• A commitment to providing exceptional client service
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt 
• Excellent verbal, written, and problem-solving skills
• Some business experience and/or investing experience is preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet regularly in consultation with clients to identify and address their asset protection, business planning, and estate planning needs
• Engage in special projects to further develop our products and services
• Answer legal questions submitted online
• Perform document reviews submitted online
• Work directly with a team of paralegals and legal assistants to provide an excellent client experience
• Planning for clients centered around living trusts
• Be readily available to assist clients with their questions and concerns
• Other responsibilities as assigned
