Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure that product designs are aligned with manufacturing capabilities and requirements.
- Optimize product designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and quality.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase product quality.
- Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce production costs.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure that materials and components meet quality and performance standards.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, SOPs, and quality control procedures.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to resolve manufacturing problems.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support product launches and transitions to production, providing technical expertise and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
- Proven experience in product design, manufacturing, or process engineering.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, product development processes, and manufacturing technologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software, process simulation tools, and other engineering software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and manufacturing best practices.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
