What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead, Social Media Content position at Andis Company?
The Social Media Content Lead is responsible for leading our online presence by driving brand demand through content and campaigns. This position will develop and implement strategies for all target markets- barbers and stylists, pet grooming and at-home consumers- by utilizing social media platforms to strengthen brand identity and demand for products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES; other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and drive the implementation of a monthly content calendar that aligns with product and brand activities.
- Partner with 3rd-party content creators to create content that resonates with key professional audiences.
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure cohesive and impactful campaign and creative execution.
- Lead the creation of content for different social media platforms and monitor audience activity to look for ways to improve content for future social media campaigns.
- Manage ads creation and scheduling on social platforms as needed.
- Responsible for interacting with our social media audiences on various platforms to build a strong following and makes suggestions for content optimization.
- Research the latest platforms and trends and use them to actively promote our brand with a focus on driving engagement and impacting the bottom line.
- Identify relevant collaboration opportunities/gifting.
- Partner with the marketing team to identify ways to leverage social platforms to promote educational and brand events.
- Utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and report on the performance of social media channels.
- Monitor social media interactions with a goal of increasing brand awareness, and track/analyze various social media metrics to report on to senior management.
- Review data before, during, and after social media campaigns and make recommendations for improving social media growth.
- Monitoring traffic on social media platforms, and analyze user engagement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management, with a track record of successful campaigns on major social platforms including TikTock, Meta, YouTube.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their audiences, and algorithms.
- 6-8 years social media marketing experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft suite and basic video/image editing software.
- Experience in managing influencer team and the pipeline of content they create.
- Must be able to travel (30%) to industry events and brand activations.
- Self-starter/motivated/entrepreneurial with proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced corporate environment.
