Our ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel facility in Muncy, PA, seeks an Operations Manager to oversee all facets of the facility's operations. With a direct reporting line to the North American Regional Director, the Operations Manager must effectively manage operations with a keen focus on achieving predefined objectives. This includes optimizing production processes, ensuring a safe working environment, upholding quality standards, and fostering satisfaction among both internal team members and external stakeholders, while embodying ANDRITZ's core values and behaviors. By serving as a role model for the team, they not only drive operational excellence but also contribute to fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the facility.

What You Will Be Doing
Here’s an overview of your responsibilities and how you can leverage your expertise:
- Implement ANDRITZ health, safety, and environmental plans and procedures.
- Responsible for building a strong safety and environmental culture, prioritizing zero accidents and a sustainable footprint.
- Manage reporting related to health and safety and environmental management.
- Responsible for the Muncy location, with focus on Operational areas in collaboration with department supervisors and leaders as direct reports.
- Create and implement approved short and long-term operations strategies to improve profitability and competitiveness.
- Create an annual investment budget, including respective business cases, for continuous improvements to all aspects of the site.
- Direct oversight of the manufacturing team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
- Ensure efficient and effective operations, meeting production schedules and customer deadlines.
- Plan and track implementation of improvement initiatives and corrective actions.
- Develop and strengthen the workforce to secure long-term sustainable business operations.
- Conduct regular meetings with employees to discuss priorities, safety, and performance.
- Set clear expectations and develop the skills and competencies of your team.
- Oversee building operation and maintenance, including repairs and space management.
- Manage office and building facilities, including security and cleaning.
- Manage procurement of consumables and general inventory.
- Embody, demonstrate, and reinforce the #1ANDRITZway core values and behaviors.
- Promote knowledge sharing throughout the organization.

What We’re Looking For
When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following:
- Minimum of 5 years' leadership experience working in a manufacturing operations or general management role, preferably in the Feed & Biofuel industry.
- Experience working in a matrix structure.
- Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
- Availability for domestic and international travel up to 25% of working time.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
