Job Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of the technical and administrative operations of the laboratory. Reports to the President.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education, Required Licenses/Certifications Must possess a Bachelor of Science degree that meets the academic requirements of the Board of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or fulfills the academic and experience components specified by recognized accrediting agencies and is certified or must be certified within one year of hire by either AMT, ISCLT, HHS, or NCA in the Laboratory Technologist category, and have a minimum of 6 years experience in a clinical laboratory in a supervisory capacity. Work Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Basic computer literacy and experience with laboratory information systems is preferred. Must demonstrate good patient manner and possess the ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff. 3-5 years of clinical supervisory experience preferred.
