What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Associate position at Andy's Frozen Custard Corporate LLC?
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by using a “customer comes first” attitude
- Efficiently accepts orders, creates treats with accuracy, serves treat(s) to customers
- Handles transaction for customer and accepts payment or makes change if needed
- Operates custard machines and ensures high quality product is produced
- Performs cleaning duties, including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes to keep equipment and facilities sanitary, using approved cleaning products
- Always maintain all health and safety regulations
- Follow Andy’s operational policies and procedures
- Follow Andy’s Dress Code and Personal Appearance Policy
Qualifications & Requirements:
- No previous experience is required, but preferred
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be 16 years of age
- Must be able to work nights (as late as 1am), weekends, as well as some holidays
- Complete training in all areas of store within designated amount of time
- Complete all required tasks on Andy’s Waitrainer modules, and continue ongoing education on Waitrainer and other resources
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to learn quickly
- Must be able to use touch sensitive POS Tablet
- Effective oral communication skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Ability work as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Constant standing and walking
- Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 55 pounds independently and safely
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
- Constant computer, point-of-sale register, and found equipment usage
- Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist and spine
- Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work around fountain area
- Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word
- Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
