Lift Operator
Join the Lift Operations department and play a very important role in running the winter mountain operations. Make a difference by providing customers with smooth lift rides.
Lift operators are responsible for safely operating the lifts, helping guests load and unload the lift, maintaining the ramps, setting up the lift lines, answering customer questions, providing exceptional customer service at all times, and representing the Resort as a whole. All applicants must be reliable, punctual, have the ability to provide exceptional customer service at all times, work well under pressure, follow strict policies and procedures, work as a team, and help foster a positive, fun, and safe working environment.
Job Details
- Base Pay: $15 per hour depending on experience
- Location: Mountain
- Employee Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt
- Job Category: Seasonal. Part-Time and Full-Time Available!
- Required Certs or Licenses: No
- Leadership Responsibilities: No
- Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, flexible, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays
- Environment: This is a physically demanding outdoor position. Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift and regularly lift/carry 75lbs. This is a do-whatever-it-takes job that requires the ability to work in varied environments
- Minimum Age: 16
- Estimated start date: Mid May
- Housing: Limited employee housing is available upon request. Employee housing is “dorm-style” and starts at $450/month. Other options available. A list of local rental resources is available upon request.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Safely operating the chair lifts and surface lifts
- Helping guests load and unload the lift
- Maintaining the ramps
- Setting up the lift lines
- Answering customer questions
