IT Desktop Support Technician

AngelCom IT Services is a local IT company supporting small to medium businesses in the Midcoast region with a strong emphasis in the greater Belfast area. We are looking to bring on one more IT support professional. We work remotely and onsite at various businesses and homes. We work mainly with Windows operating systems, although there are Macs that need support as well.

We primarily work with.

• Windows and MAC desktops

• Windows Servers

• Office 365

• Google Apps

• VOIP

• Sonicwall Firewalls

Job Duties.

• Work in-shop or remote with clients installing PCs and Servers.

• Work in-shop or remote with clients fixing issues with PCs and Servers.

• Work onsite or remote with clients setting up users, email addresses on Exchange Server, Google Apps, Office 365 and various others email solutions.
• Daily and constant benchwork.

• Work onsite or remote with various line of business applications, each client is different with their needs and software.

• Speak with clients on the phone or directly in the office on a regular basis.

• Work with mobile devices, Cell phones Tablets and so on.

Job Requirements.

• Honesty

• Ability to troubleshoot and configure windows desktop operating systems.

• Ability to present yourself professionally to a client.

• Have good verbal and written skills with the ability to talk to a client at their IT understanding level.

• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to work with a team.

• Ability to quickly learn and grasp new concepts.

• Own a vehicle that can reliably transport equipment to and from client’s sites.
• Have the ability to find a solution and sell that solution. We pride ourselves in not overselling but need to be able to make the client understand why a purchase needs to be made.

• Self-motivation and know when to ask for help to find the answer to something you don’t know in a timely manner.

Physical Requirements;

• Ability to carry computers from vehicle to office and climb under desks.

• Ability to sit at a desk for hours and talk on the phone.

• This job can require standing, crouching, balancing, and other uncomfortable positions but mostly sitting.

Compensation;

• Salary Depends on Experience.

After 60 days

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer repair: 1 year (Preferred)
