Accounts Payable Specialist - QSR Restaurant

Angry Chickz, a leading Nashville Hot Chicken Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) with a passion for delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. As an integral part of our accounting department, you will play a key role in managing A/P processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and supporting our commitment to financial excellence. Responsibilities:

1. Process A/P invoices and ensure accurate coding and approvals.

2. Reconcile vendor statements, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

3. Handle restaurant deposits efficiently and maintain accurate records.

4. Utilize Restraunt365 software to manage financial transactions and reporting.

5. Collaborate with the Controller and CFO to streamline financial processes.

6. Work closely with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.

7. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

8. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

9. Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements in the A/P function.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist in the food and beverage industry.

2. Familiarity with QSR restaurant financial processes.

3. Proficiency in using Restraunt365 or similar accounting software always a plus.

4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

7. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

8. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but bookkeeping experience carries an equal weight.
