Responsibilities:
- Responsible for grinding and refining edges of shoe inserts made of various materials
- Responsible for the set up, operation and oversight of the grinder during production.
- Will make necessary adjustments to the machine to account for different materials and job specifications.
- Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality expectations and standards
- Follow all safety guidelines, procedures and guidelines.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years previous grinding experience preferred
- Must be detail oriented
- Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to work in an environment that may be seasonably warm or cool and dusty
- Ability to read and interpret instructions in English; ability to verbally communicate in English
- Must be reliable
- Must be able to work independently and on a team

Shifts
- 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 1:30PM - 10:00PM
Compensation
- Pay range is $14.00 - $17.00 per hour base wage to start
- Actual starting wage will depend on experience level of candidate
- Second shift employees earn an addition $1.00 per hour for shift differential
- Employees who meet or exceed expectations in their first 90 days will be eligible for a merit increase at 90 days
