Position Description:
As a Fleet Manager you will play a crucial role in identifying and sourcing brokered assets as well as dispatching daily schedule.
Primary Responsibilities
- Take customer orders and fulfill logistic requirements using brokered assets
- Developing broker base/recruitment
- Provide and coordinate freight rates to motor carriers (and internal sales team as needed), ensuring maximum profitability on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain and build strong relationships with motor carriers and other resources
- Maintain proper documentation of all open truck orders and of records of respective assets being dispatched when necessary
- Maintain proper compliance and documentation of Motor Carriers and other company assets
- Communicate with motor carriers to schedule trucks and resolve potential issues
- Plan ahead to assure that orders will be covered in advance and that proper equipment is being placed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, networking, negotiation and problem-solving skills, a MUST
- Results-driven, strategic thought process
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible; ability to change focus quickly to meet the demands of market conditions and/or company needs
- Logistical planning, routing, or dispatch experience a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills preferred
- Construction knowledge preferred
- Dispatch software experience preferred

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
