Our Banquet Servers play a big role in delivering the Anoush experience to our guests by providing friendly, personal and attentive service that ensures our guests feel welcomed and appreciated. We’re seeking individuals who are committed to providing amazing customer service and care about creating a positive, lasting impression.
As a Banquet Server you will:
- Execute catering events in fast-paced environments
- Assist with the set-up of all events including tables, chairs and buffet equipment
- Display full knowledge of set-ups
- Carry plates of food on trays and serve guests
- Keep glasses filled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensils
- Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service
- Greet all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness
- Accurately answer guest questions about food, beverages, and our facilities
- Provide the highest level of service in accordance with our company standards
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Communicate well with guests and employees alike
- Promote an attitude of teamwork to include assisting other team members both on the floor and with side work
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area
- Perform other various tasks as assigned
May require the flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, holidays and/or weekends access to reliable transportation to/from our venues and offsite events.
Must be comfortable standing and walking for long periods; able to bend and stretch to fulfill tasks, and physically able to lift and carry heavy trays and/or equipment.
Preferred skills and experience:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a server in a banquet or hotel environment is a plus!
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Strong organization, communication, and problem solving skills
- High energy, upbeat personality
Nice to have, but not required:
- Experience with a POS/ordering, and timekeeping systems
- Food safety training
- Bilingual/multi-lingual
