The Opportunity:
We are searching for a positive, hard-charging sales professional with 2 years of B2B sales experience to sell into "growth" accounts --small to medium businesses with $10-50M in annual revenue. Success with calling on marketing titles and experience with intent data solutions is highly preferred.
Ideal candidates will bring a hunting mentality and an affinity for high outbound activity via phone, video conferencing, and email.
What You'll Do:
- Sell all performance marketing solutions to key lead generation decision-makers within SMB prospects.
- Translate how our solutions can impact the prospect company's marketing effectiveness across marketing and sales departments
- Lead generation via aggressive prospecting
- Prospect qualification
- Needs assessment
- Competitive positioning
- Needs-based proposal development
- Post-proposal issues resolution
- Capability presentation(s) & Product demonstration(s)
- Contract development and execution
- Cross- and up-sell (where appropriate)
What You'll Bring:
- Technical knowledge of data integration to CRMs and MAPs and translate how our solutions can impact the prospect company's profitability.
- Skilled at developing leads (cold calling) across departments at target companies.
- Track record of successfully selling data-driven products, particularly demand generation, display advertising, and intent solutions to b2b enterprise organizations.
- Must be able to generate imaginative, innovative solutions that meet the needs of marketers. Be a strategic thinker/solution seller using a different approach with the same tools to meet the needs of each unique customer.
- Have the tenacity to stay effective in sales situations with or without immediate success, using both positive and negative outcomes as an incentive to move forward toward fulfilling commitments to personal and team financial goals.
- Be a strategic thinker/solution seller and bring integrated solutions to each unique customer situation in different ways using the same tools.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and monitor all activity and performance against goals.
- Possess thorough knowledge of inner workings within SMB accounts, i.e., different positions/titles unique to each organization and appropriate solutions.
- Must work independently without constant direction or supervision, be self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic to put forth extra effort continually.
