Position Summary
The position will be responsible for the daily coordinating, planning, and oversight of all water hauling related activities in support of field operations.
This position will be expected to communicate and work effectively with all third (3rd) party water truck haulers and service providers involved in the logistics process.
Proactively interact with Construction, Drilling, Completions, Midstream and Production Field Supervisors to determine current and upcoming trucking requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily logistics operations for multiple third (3rd) party water truck haulers, which may comprise of more than 100 trucks per day.
- Utilize Fleet Tracking platforms. Conduct frequent audits to ensure trucks are completing jobs as instructed from the dispatch plans.
- Engage with service providers to ensure hauling requirements are met. Coordinate with third (3rd) parties to ensure destination capacities are adequate.
- Record and address non-reoccurring vendor accountability issues directly with various Company supervisors and communicate to the Control Room and Dispatch management team.
- Receive, communicate, and fulfill asset requests from various functional groups within the Company.
- Effectively execute in-shift reroutes of assets due to operational changes or fluctuations in work demand and trucking resources.
- Coordinate and follow through with internal employees and contractors on upcoming projects or other matters concerning hauling logistics.
Ensure all operations are completed within approved operating and regulatory standards.
- Run daily forecast reports for Production water management and follow the established procedures to generate the optimized dispatch plan that will be sent to the haulers.
- Monitor applicable SCADA systems to prevent non-scheduled shut-ins due to excessive fluid level in the tanks.
- Create, maintain, and distribute non-production operations asset list detailing all other shift assignments.
- Maintain tracking of water movements and storage inventory. Provide daily hauling updates and water volume tracking reports.
- Record and maintain a daily log of all requests to be utilized by the Invoicing team as a verification tool.
- Timely notify Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) personnel of all accidents and incidents. Properly document the information in the dedicated incident log.
- Act as primary responder to all incidents that range in severity levels, reported to the Company’s Emergency Hotline Number and take appropriate action.
- Assist the invoicing department by gathering billing information from requesting parties and consolidate / maintain the data in shared sheet
- Communicate daily with Water Treatment, Blending and Disposal facilities to enhance real time knowledge of volume availability and the allocation of water resources.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with developing and maintaining metrics to identify and evaluate the operational efficiencies and safety of logistics service providers.
- Assist in the logistical planning of future water operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education, Experience, Licensure
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company’s Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle.
Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure
One (1) to three (3) years of dispatching, logistics, or relevant experience.
Required Core Competencies Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Required computer skills to perform daily tasks with Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Must have beginner to intermediate knowledge and operating experience in Microsoft Excel.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Functions as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
Physical Demands
- The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee will minimally lift, push, carry and / or move up to 25 pounds.
