The Manager Product Development position is responsible for managing the development and implementation of new products and modifications of existing products.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Implements new products or product changes/enhancements.
- Develops recommendations on new product designs.
- Translates business goals and objectives into tactical plans.
- Ensures products meet competitive and legislative needs.
- Monitors product development for compliance.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree
- minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred:
- Healthcare experience
- MS or 5 years experience leading Product Management teams
- Digital experience
- Demonstrated analytical skills, with the ability to use tools to create insights to improve our product
- Product management experience as a data BI specialist, strategist and/or manager
- Participation in all stages of the software development lifecycle, experience with Agile software methodologies. (JIRA tools are a plus)
