Onsite Project Manager
As a Project Manager at Antillean Marine Shipping Corporation, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, possesses strong leadership skills, and has a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, resource requirements, and milestones.
- Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate project goals, timelines, and progress to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with resource managers to allocate and manage project resources effectively.
- Monitor team workload and adjust assignments as needed to ensure optimal productivity.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Track project expenses, review financial reports, and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.
- Establish and enforce project quality standards and ensure that deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
- Conduct regular quality reviews and implement improvements as needed.
- Effectively manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Assess the impact of changes and communicate adjustments to all stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth project closure, including documentation of lessons learned and completion of project post-mortems.
- Conduct final project reviews with stakeholders to assess overall success and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
- At least a yellow belt in Six Sigma.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Fluent: English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
