We’re looking for a talented Strategy Manager to join Aon Affinity that is results oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and has a natural curiosity for solving problems. Working in a fast-paced environment that exposes you to a variety of experiences across disciplines, you will develop your business skills as you focus on leading and driving strategic priorities as part of our Strategy and Growth Team. This role is available in Chicago, Atlanta, Washington DC, or the Philadelphia area.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead from the front, “roll up your sleeves”, and work collaboratively in a team setting to develop robust inorganic and organic growth strategies.
- Landscape strategic sectors, segments, and markets and develop market and competitive analysis capabilities to constantly stay ahead of trends in and around the industry.
- Support Strategy Analyst and team members to execute key analyses and research, including market analysis, competitive analysis, financial analysis and customer needs analysis.
- Act as a resource to Aon Affinity’s business units to develop robust strategic growth plans.
- Lead and/or contribute to the prospecting, sourcing, cultivation, and execution stages of acquisition processes, including initial diligence, strategic rationale, pipeline management & tracking, preliminary financial modeling and valuation, due diligence coordination, synergy and integration planning, and managing the internal approval activities.
- Partner with corporate development team to identify, review and pressure test strategic rationale of potential transactions or partnerships which are aligned with Aon Affinity’s strategic priorities.
- Coordinate growth planning processes and develop go-to-market strategies in partnership with sales management to ensure process and technological efficiency.
- Support sales management with sales forecasting, lead qualification process, and optimization of CRM (customer relationship management) utilization and strategies.
- Prepare and deliver leader-ready recommendations (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel) in a logical manner, based on clear synthesis of facts and analyses.
- Effectively work with senior level executives and peers.
- Liaise between business units and corporate functions to influence colleagues to work together effectively.
- Ability to work as an integral part of a team, fostering teamwork and cultivating relationships, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, including data analysis and problem solving
- Strong written and oral communication skills (including presentations) as well as listening and interpretation skills
- Experience supporting projects and delivering quality work to senior executives
- Ability to perform well under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Must be an agent for positive change and be able to juggle competing priorities
- Mature and professional demeanor
- Seek out new challenges and growth opportunities
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required
- Minimum of 5 years related industry experience with demonstrated leadership skills. Prefer 3 years M&A/Corp Dev and/or Sales/Growth Strategy experience
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree with major in one of the following: Business (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Org Behavior), Economics, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations & Supply Chain
