Aon is looking for a Collection Specialist in our Surety department. This is a hybrid role that can be based out of any of our Aon offices.

Job duties and responsibilities :
- Improve premium collection for the region
- Assist surety analyst and / or Advisor with contacting clients for unpaid delinquent invoices on an "as needed basis"
- Compile data on clients that are historically slow pays
- Assisting team with invoicing questions
- Assist in overall maintenance of account receivables / payables
- Maintain proficiency on all computer technology required. This includes : AonBondLink, Bridge and Microsoft Office
- Reconciliation of Invoicing
- Complete spreadsheets of past dues received from various sureties
- Respond to emails within a timely manner
- Special Projects assigned by RDO in relation to the Collection Manager job responsibilities .

- Ability to recognize problems, establish facts and develop valid recommendations
- Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions dealing with abstract and concrete variables
- Possession of excellent "people" skills, including ability to communicate (both verbal and written) with markets, clients, and team members effectively
Education and licensing requirements
Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role, or equivalent years of industry experience. Maintain Notary Republic designation.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $60,000 to $90,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location
