AON is looking for a Vice President of Pharmacy. (Virtual Opportunity)
The Vice President, Pharmacy will be responsible for directly managing some of the most visible/complex consulting clients within the Aon Pharmacy practice. As the lead consultant, you will set the strategic vision and work with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery.
VP Pharmacy Consultant
- Will be accountable for developing and executing strategies to maximize pharmacy benefit savings for employer clients primarily through an established consulting arrangement inclusive of a (PBM) procurement process, a market check process and/or other Aon Pharmacy services.
- We be the overall, day-to-day lead and expert for each of your clients for all incoming requests for your clients, including strategy about industry developments/Aon points of view, PBM programs and new offerings, new/emerging vendors and whether they're relevant to your clients, evaluating new-to-market vendor point solutions and whether they're relevant for the your clients, and staying up-to-date on marketplace developments to be shared with your clients. This also includes making practical clinical guidance to your clients based on thought leadership from our clinical team and the PBMs.
- Responsible for upsell of Aon Rx services in conjunction with our business development team
- Will manage a book of some of our highest profile accounts within Rx, with multiple ongoing projects per account, up to 10 clients in the large and jumbo employer space, to free capacity from other senior colleagues in the Pharmacy team
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant Pharmacy Benefit Consulting, PBM, or Health Plan client-facing experience.
- Deep knowledge of PBM procurement, PBM pricing and contracting.
- Viewed as an industry leader with expertise in pharmacy benefits.
- Exceptional project management, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and clients with dynamic and shifting timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client and vendor relationships.
- Strong leadership skills with experience collaborating within teams to produce results.
- Proven ability to work in a progressive, fast paced environment.
- Ability to travel as needed up to 25%.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $130K to $200K annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of [State/Region].
