What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Service Tech position at AOS Staffing?
Maintains the appearance and sanitation of all areas of the Medical Center including, but not limited to patient rooms, diagnostic testing rooms, waiting areas, staff areas, examination rooms, and operating rooms in accordance with infection control regulations. Disposes of trash, recyclables, and medical waste according to policies and procedures. Regularly wears personal protective equipment (PPE). Uses bleach on an ongoing basis along with other hospital approved disinfectants and cleaning products. Operates both a pager and computers to receive and send communication about patient rooms. Hangs cubicle curtains as needed. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, guiding principles and Mercy Service Standards. Responsibilities
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
Requirements
Shift: Monday-Friday
Background check,Drug screening and Covid and Flu Vaccination (must provide proof)
Dress code:
- Black scrub top and pants (No jeans, leggings, or sweats)
- Tennis shoes/sneakers (no crocks or slip-on shoes)
- No non-natural hair colors (pinks, blues, greens, etc)
- No facial piercings
This position does require a background and drug test.
